We installed these windows in our home and this winter three of the seals in three windows let go. Now we have permanent marks between the panes and the windows have all become blurry. Absolutely dreadful product. Stay Clear.

This is the second spring with our windows and time to wash screens etc. I don't think I have a single screen left that doesn't have broken clips. Everything is made with cheap plastic, and furthermore the handle of the windows (to open them) slant in an upward direction making it difficult to get the screen in to start with. For the price of these very expensive windows I am very, very disappointed. Not going to bother getting new clips, they will just snap off anyway. Very poorly designed screens, not thought out at all for ease of use. Will be looking at other brands next time we build or replace windows.

This is for the Edmonton office. On July 25th I contacted All weather to let them know about our glass leaking at our back door. The water caused damage to our hardwood floor. The lady told me they would have a quote for me to fix it under warranty which required myself to pay 25% of the cost. I waited till Aug 6th and e-mailed backed asking why I have not heard back from them. Still no response. On Aug 18th I called to ask for the customer service manager and left Mr Fleming a voice message and forwarded both e-mails to him as well. He responded by saying he received both e-mails and said the lady I spoke too had been off this week and would talk to another member of their team and get back to me the next day. Well on Aug 20th I had to e-mail again because of no response back yet. Mr Fleming responded back to me and told me he ran out of hours in a day and would call me the next afternoon. He did apologize for the inconvenience. I realize it's a busy construction season and they are really busy and am not sure why it's hard to get a response. However we the ones that have to deal with the door window leaking and wreaking our floor. Geoff A

All Weather installed 5 windows in our house and within 6 months one had cracked all the way across on the inside and within the year another had as well. When we contacted them about it they said it was due to the age of our house and shifting; yet the windows that were in there for the past 30 years never had a problem. We ended up contacting several other window places for quotes on replacement (as All Weather refused) and they all inspected the windows and said it was just a poor cut job on the glass and thus the crack. All Weather's customer service around this was terrible, and the only way they would agree to replace the panes is if we gave them the contract for our upstairs windows that we were planning on replacing. I will never work with them again, and sure regret doing so in the first place.

I had what I thought was supposed to be high efficient triple pane, low e, argon filled windows installed in my new construction home. These things are anything but efficient. Three of my casement windows have sagged and leave a visible gap on the top corner to let the cold air in. I've had technicians in at least a dozen times to do this or that but the problem recurs shortly thereafter. I've had rain enter my house from the outside on 2 of my fixed windows(it runs down the outside of the window, in through the glass and aluminum clad space, under the window, and then into the house). I've had to caulk the outside of the windows myself to prevent this from happening further. Dust blows in around the windows due to a poor seal. I am thoroughly disappointed in this product. I would never recommend them nor would I ever put them in any house I build in the future. I just wish I had read forums like this before I purchased them in the first place.

Well in the past 10 years I have renovated 2 trailers & built 2 homes. The trailers & one of the new homes I used gienow windows. AWESOME product! Built another home a year ago & was told by my local building centre that All Weather Windows was the same quality as Gienow, energy efficient & cheaper than Gienow. What an idiot I was. This is my first winter in my new home & the bottoms of all my vinyl sliders have about 3 cm of ice ON THE INSIDE & can feel a cold draft all the time. Technician from all weather windows came out & said it was due to high humidty. Hmmmm interesting seeing as how I have a wood/electric furnace & even by his own testing Im sitting at 14% when at these outside temperatures of -39 15% & below is acceptible. Never had this problem when I used Gienow......AND All Weather keeps talking about humidity in the home & condensation. Well for crying out loud....condensation is not ICE!!! All the windows have ice in the same location no matter what floor...

A Tech came out to our house for another issue (window replacement - wrong tinting - came out 4 times to replace it then finally got it right) and confirmed for us that our Single Hung (Vertical Unit) was leaking from within the window unit and that it was a warranty issue. After sending pictures and advising them of what the Tech told us, they wanted to charge us $184 to look at the window again. The clerk setting up the appointment said that they would replace the glass if it was leaking. I advised that it was not coming from the glass, that it was coming from the interior, plastic, pvc structure. She was not willing to provide further information on how they would fix that or the cost, that the Tech would let us know. Sorry, but we are not interested in forking out money if you do not have any idea how much it will cost. We do not have any confidence in the after service of All Weather Windows.

I am very unhappy customer of All Weather Windows and Doors. The service people who come out to install their products are very nice but only do what All Weather Windows and Doors say to do. 15 years ago this company was exceptional in it's product and service but in 2011 I find this company to be substandard. I recently had my doors replaced by them. They had to remove the screen doors to put their product on...then when asked to put the screen doors back on they said they can't touch them because of warranty. This makes absolutely no sense (they touch them to take them off impacting warranty but won't put them back on). As well, their service has to be done in two steps - meaning two appointment times where you are waiting for the door to be put on. Be sure to get everything in writing from the company before you choose them as your supplier of choice.

In October of 2009 All Weather Windows installed 5 new large windows in my house. Within 3-4 months I noticed that there was excessive ice build up(3 inches) on the inside of all windows. I did not have a humidifier in the house and the previous 30 year old windows did not have any condensation or ice build up issues. I contacted All Weather Windows and informed them of the issues and of my concerns. Over a year passed and no one from their company contacted me or ever came over to address my concerns or issues. I finally had to take All Weather Windows to small claims court citing "improper installation or defects in the product they supplied". In the mediated agreement I had to pay an independant inspector $200.00 to inspect the windows with their "Head Customer Service Representative" overseeing the inspection. This was the only time in 16 months that onyone from All Weather Windows even stepped foot in my house. The inspectors report clearly stated that the...

I ordered 7 windows (supply and install) in late July, 2010. They were installed 12-14 September. It is now October 20th and the work has not been completed. Extremely poor service. Extremely poor communication.

Recently had four windows and a door installed. Paint was chipped off around all of the windows when the old molding was removed, and the new molding around the front door is an inch shorter than the old molding. All Weather Windows did not fix their defects, rather gave us a $100 credit card. Now I get to spend 20 hrs fixing up their mistakes. Your choice if you want to do business with a company that finishes a job like that.

All weather windows replaced 7 windows and one sliding door in our home in Calgary in July 2008. In December, 2008 2 windows cracked during a cold snap. All Weather Windows will not replace the windows, offer a discount or off any other incentive to have the windows replaced by them. The previous windows were in our home for more than 20 years and did not crack during the winter. Additionally, the salesperson would have nothing to do with us after the windows were sold, and the drywall was severley damaged during installation. I would strongly suggest ANY other company. R. Great customer service. They have the best customer service department, hands down.I purchased a door, it was not even from them, but still an All Weather Window door, they helped me source a handle for it that was missing and helped with everything. The most amazing service guys, absolutely love their jobs.

I have had nothing but a surreal time with All Weather Windows. In my opinion, they are SO BAD, it's laughable.I ordered 3 windows and a patio door in July 2014. Some time later, I was informed that they would not be able to install until the end of October because "the patio door was an odd size"....uh....no it isn't.When the workers showed up, it turns out All Weather Windows had SUB-CONTRACTED my install to another company I had never heard of...without telling me! I wasn't happy about that, and then THEY FORGOT the screen door for my patio door, and the install guys didn't know what happened to it...I promptly stopped payment on the check I had issued for the remainder of the money I had paid. They ALREADY had my deposit of $2000.00 and the job was not complete....Almost a week later, I get a phone call stating that they will need to book a service call in DECEMBER (when you NEED a screen door), more than 4 weeks away! Then, I get ANOTHER phone call from the salesman who sold us the window saying they received an NSF check for the remainder of the money. I informed him that I stopped payment on the check, as the job wasn't complete and I would be happy to pay the remainder when they complete the job in December. He said ok. No apology was issued for not completing the job and forgetting my screen door. Then today, I get ANOTHER call from what I assume to be their collections department; he says HE NEEDS AT LEAST $4500 out of $5000 owing. I told him that he can have the full amount when the install is complete in December, as they already have my $2000.00 deposit. At this point, this guy starts THREATENING a LIEN ON MY HOUSE and a COLLECTION AGENCY! Over THEIR SCREWUP! I told him I'd be ready with payment upon completion of the job...in DECEMBER WHEN THEY FINISH THE INSTALL!!!! Also, DO NOT call me again! At no time was I issued an apology or an explanation for their shoddy service. My advice to anyone contemplating All Weather Windows to do their windows, is to FORGET IT. There are plenty of other companies that will send ACTUAL EMPLOYEES of the company to do your install, and complete the job, all WITHOUT threatening a lien on your house and a collection agency.I have NEVER seen anything like this before and I hope I NEVER will again.Avoid these guys at ALL costs, because in MY opinion, they don't care about anything but the bottom line, and care NOTHING about the customer, even faced with their own incompetence!UPDATE: December 8th, 2014. FINALLY got my screen door...because that's when you need a screen door you ordered in JULY...DECEMBER, right? The guys that came this time were from manufacturing, not install. TWO guys to pop a screen door in. It took 5 minutes. I don't think they enjoyed walking through a foot of snow in the backyard to get to my screen door, but they handled it. Handed them a check AFTER THE INSTALL WAS COMPLETE, no problems.I still have my house, I assume lien free, and they have their payment in full. What they DON'T have is a repeat customer. I won't ever use these guys again. I didn't get any explanation or apology for their shoddy service or treatment of me. A LIEN on my house AND a collection agency, for God's sake.Give these clowns a pass.

Our condo ordered windows for our entire building from all weather in May of this year....they were to be installed at the end of May finishing in October... well here it is almost August and the windows have gone to our contractor and engineers and still have not passed the quality test.... pretty scary stuff considering this is a high rise building....

very bad service. The window cracked, was covered by warranty. The 'customer service specialist' was very hard to get hold of after the first conversation. my email with photos of the cracked window frame was "lost", so was her excuse of not contacting me. Thereafter, she said I need to speak with the builder who were confused as the warranty is offered by AWW. All weather windows were supposed to contact me by the latest 2 days ago, but still did not hear from them. I will call them on Monday and write more of my experience. SO AN AWW REP CAME OVER AND APPLIED CAULKING ON THE CRACK AND 4 MONTHS LATER THE CRACK IS VISIBLE AGAIN. I HAD EMAILED JASON OVER THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY AND HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING YET (TODAY IS JAN 17). NEXT MOVE WILL INVOLVE MY LAWYER. Thank you for responding to my email Jason and for forwarding my concerns to the Edmonton Manager..; however, it is now January 27th and I have yet to hear from anyone at AWW. very bad service

This company is the worst I have ever dealt with. Very poor communication and a faulty product / installation. Their philosophy seems to be: Make a junky product, charge a crap load of money for it, screw up the product specs & sizing, repeatedly change the install date, pretend to have a warranty, then IGNORE ALL PHONE CALLS when the product fails. My door frame is rotting out and they don't want to help. I can't even paint the door frame because moisture keeps seeping into the wood frame every time it rains! It is really badly stained from the moisture incursions and we are now very concerned about black mold. So we are now stuck with an ugly rotting unfinished door frame that will eventually become a health hazard. This is either a faulty product or faulty install but we will never know which because they just don't respond. I'm only posting this because I have finally given up on this company. My next online stop will be the Better Business Bureau. Seriously, do your friends, family and coworkers a favor and let them know to avoid this company and their products. Please don't let them go through the same experience! FYI, I usually don't write online reviews but I feel compelled (at this point) to warn any future potential victims.

Timothy Wong was the sales person who came out to my home to give me a quote for windows. He was prompt and explained everything thoroughly. I ended up asking him to give me a quote on two more windows while he was here and he was able to quickly give me a quote on those too. Excellent customer service. I am extremely happy over the installation of the windows. The windows were delivered early as promised. I received a phone call the day before install to let me know what time they'd be here the next day. Jason and Robert arrived on time and started working immediately. I was home during the installation with my three year old and they were professional and courteous, to both of us. Excellent experience with the entire installation process. Everything about the renovation went as planned and I am extremely happy with our new windows. Last fall, I ended up going with a different company to install windows but the deal fell through because they didn't follow through on what they promised. Come spring, All Weather was my first choice, and I regret not having gone with you last year or I might have been enjoying my new windows this past winter. We will definitely be getting the rest of the windows in our house renovated by All Weather.

The locking mechanisms in my new home were terrible. 4 out of 6 of them broke, including one on the main floor, which posed a serious security risk. The security risk turned into a reality, as AWW refused to put a rush on the repairs, scheduling an appointment for several weeks out. A week after we moved into our new home we got broken into through the main floor window with a broken lock. When we called AWW that day to request an emergency fix, they at first said they couldn't help us until our regularly scheduled appointment (still 3 weeks away). They then came later that day, but only due to a cancellation (sheer luck). Unfortunately, they were only able to do a temporary fix, which was fine with us, knowing they would finish the work in 3 weeks. Or so we thought... for whatever reason they (not us) cancelled the later appointment, so we were left wondering where they were when the date arrived! Certain that they would make it right by slotting us in on a rush due to their mistake, the disappointment only increased, as they were unwilling to make it right, and told us the best they could do was over 6 weeks out. 6 weeks!!! I'm extremely disappointed in how this company runs its business and isn't willing to rectify their scheduling mistake.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. They need to work on setting expectations. We never did get our windows from them, but the only reason we didn't was because their sales associate blew it with us. We were a shoo-in, all that needed to get done to lock us in, was to sign the contract. After empty promises and no shows we chose to go with another company. When my husband told the sales associate that we had had enough of the run around, her reply was something along the lines of us missing out on the best quality out there. She really gave us no apology and didn't try to do anything to rectify the situation. Her response was pretty much the worst she could have given considering she was the one who had messed up so many times, not to mention, we were told by our friend, who is an interior designer, that All Weather Windows have a reputation of their window seals giving out after 5ish years. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

We ordered a front and back door from this company. The back door frame around the window is all warped and needs service. Good luck getting service with this company! They won't return calls, book weeks in advance, then we were told our parts went to Edmonton., When he did finally show up, he said he didn't have the right material Now, they are not returning our calls and our door looks like crap. My advice, go anywhere else!!!!

COMPLAINT #1 (INSTALLER COMPLAINT): All weather windows requested for everything to be moved at least 4 ft away from all windows (so they have space to work). I spent time moving things around the house to give them AT LEAST 4ft. For some odd reason.. they still left screws, nails and garbage on the beds, floors and other random places in the house. I thought they left their garbage around just for the day. I thought they would clean up after themselves when the job was completed. I was wrong. The installers knew i had a 2 year old in the house. It should have been common sense to throw the garbage out or leave it in a corner of my carpeted floors. COMPLAINT #2 (INSTALLER COMPAINT): We HAD no problem with the installers using our toilets. I was ok with it until they left urine all over the toilet seat (looked like a bit of urine on the floor also). The installer didn't just miss the toilet bowl a little bit. The toilet seat was covered in yellow! He didn't even think twice about using toilet paper to wipe his **** up! Instead my pregnant wife had to clean it up for him. I just hope my kid didn't come close to the toilet when it was painted yellow. Please consider the Potty Power dvd for this installler. COMPLAINT #3 (CUSTOMER SERVICE): Once you make a deposit to hire AWW, they will not respond to any of your emails. They responded to every email almost instantly.. until I paid them the deposit. I have sent emails requesting for a link with warranty information (for my particular windows). No response. I have asked simple questions in previous emails. No response. It has been about a month, and still no response to my emails. Customer service goes from excellent to non-existent once they take your money! ??COMPLAINT #4 ??(QUESTIONABLE QUALITY OF WORK): The quality of work is definitely questionable. Water was coming through the windows, in 3 different areas, a few days after the install had been complete. I was guessing the windows weren't properly sealed from the outside. The installer came back and sprayed more foam between the windows and the studs (from the inside of the house). I will have to wait for rainy days to see if the windows were actually installed properly. COMPLAINT #5 (Feb. 10/2013) : Now that it is warm enough to have the windows open, they won't open properly! The casement windows have screws that are up too high. When we open the window, we hear a loud pop sound. The window has to go over the screw to open! It does the same thing when closing too! The spray foam, on this same window, has lifted one of the window mouldings 1/8 of an inch. It becomes very noticeable when the moulding has an 1/8 of an inch gap from the wall. SINCE I HAVE PAID FOR THESE WINDOWS, I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED A RESPONSE FROM ALL WEATHER WINDOWS. I HAVE EMAILED THEM MULTIPLE TIMES! GARBAGE COMPANY! COMPLAINT #6 (INSTALLER COMPLAINT): There are two different spots on the wall with spray foam. About a foot of it going across the wall. That stuff does not come off! Black marks also all over the walls. Looks like tools that scraped the heck out of the walls. I will sand and mud certain parts of my wall... Then re-paint that wall! I will try to find the exact paint colour as the rest of my walls. Update 05/2013: Now that it is warm enough to BBQ out on my patio, I've noticed a huge dent and scratch on the outside of my patio door (the colour even came off!! More garbage found on the patio. A pile of hardened white stuff on my back lawn.Unbelievable! The problems just don't stop with this company! OVERALL: I would never recommend this company. In fact, I would only have negative things to say about AWW. It seems like I am not the only one with this bad experience. It was a tough decision between AWW and Gienow. AWW was cheaper, but Gienow was highly recommended. It looks like I will be hiring Gienow to do my basement windows. DO NOT HIRE AWW! YOU WILL CONSTANTLY FIND PROBLEMS WITH YOUR WINDOWS!

Nuvista used All Weather Windows as a contractor to install windows in our newly built house. This spring one of the crank windows lost it's vacuum and has condensation inside of it and now one of the large windows also has condensation inside of it. My house will be 5 years old in March of 2016. I am so very unimpressed with the quality of these windows. We were warned to fight with the builder not to use them but we didn't, and now I'm going to have to go through a huge hassle to try and have them replaced (if they will, that is yet to be determined)'

Terrible product, and very slow warranty service. We built our home 10 years ago, and only after a few years we started to notice that these windows are garbage. Never have I seen the vinyl trim pieces that hold the sealed unit into its frame, warp, break, become brittle, and fall out. It took months, yes months, from the time I contacted AWW, to the time they completed the work. And all they did was replace the sash frame. All of our single hung windows lack structural integrity. It's difficult to open and close them when they have a belly to them. I'm not the average home owner, I'm in construction and time to time I've installed retro fit and renovation brickmould models. Never will I recommend All Weather Windows.

Had some problems with windows opening and closing and locking. Tried giving them a call even though they didn't make or install my windows when the house was built. Talked with Heather who was very knowledgeable and she set up a consult with Gary to figure out what was wrong. Non existent customer service. Will never call you back when they say they will. Update: still waiting... Update 2: guess what? Still waiting Update 3: I've decided to set up camp for the night, doesn't look like I'm getting help anytime today Update 4: someone came out to see me with a screen door! I bought from AWW twice. The first time was an excellent experience, but the second time was awful. The sales rep was great to deal with, and the installation crew did a good job. There were some small dents on the doors (that I noticed after the installers left), and dealing with the Customer Service Manager about the issue was the worst experience I've had with any of the contractors I've hired. He began by blaming me for the dents on the door, mentioning that I must have danaged the doors after the installers left. I was made out to be a liar, and had to defend myself against accusations (It was so unbelievable, that I sometimes wondered if the email was a joke - I wish it was). It took several infuriating emails back and forth to convince the manager to inspect the damage himself, and once he did, he quickly agreed that it was unlikely that I could have damaged the doors (due to the location of the dents), and agreed to replace them. I couldn't believe that a company would be so quick to blame a customer, before even investigating the issue. Had I not been so persistent, I would be stuck with dented doors that I paid several thousand dollars to have professionally installed. I can't help but think of other people that get blamed and shut down for similar issues. I did end up receiving two replacement doors (which I am thankful for), but never did receive any sort of apology for the accusations, or the inconvenience. Plus, I wanted to keep the door knob from one of the original doors that was replaced, but it was taken away by accident - no apology or compensation for this either. Just to be clear, this is not a complaint about the sales or installation (both were good); this is a warning and complaint about AWW customer service and the lack thereof.

And I still don't have screens that fit. I'm on the 4th round so far. Its awful. The only reason I didn't give it 0 stars is because the last tech that has come out to help me was nice. Slow, and still measured the windows wrong but nice.

We have waited over 1 year to get a transom for above our door. They ordered the wrong one 4 times. The repair man that they send out has been great to deal with and is very knowledgeable, but their customer service really needs to be improved.

Very poor customer service... I would not recommend them. The quality of work is nothing special either...

I had a window installation a few years ago and have found it extremely difficult to get followup service on a leak. Phone messages and emails are ignored.
