Our aging HVAC system completely failed. We are located in Oakville and were referred to John at Air Plus by soccer friends who had used them before. I called at the end of the day Wednesday and he had his team at our home the next morning Thursday to inspect the problem. In the end the best option was to replace the entire system. John at Air Plus gave us a very competitive price on a fantastic American Standard HVAC system and they installed it the next Thursday within 7 days from our call! WOW!! We are truly happy with their terrific service, quality product and price. John and his team went out of their way to get this done quickly. I have and will continue to recommend Air Plus!! Again - big thanks to John and all the team at Air Plus!!

I wanted to thank Kwame for his hard work to ensure our central ductless A/C unit was repaired and is now working fine. Kwame was thorough and persistent when fixing the unit even though he was not familiar with our system. He replaced the thermostat with a used one from his van and then came back a few days later to install a new unit. Thank you Kwame for all your efforts, I will definitely recommend Airplus and Kwame to friends and family. Glenn

The technician showed up on time, was polite and explained the steps he planned to carry out. On completion he provided some suggestions to improve the humidifier. The rates were reasonable. I would use this service again.

My Experience with Air Plus was exceptional. The technician was so nice, it was like having a friend come over and fix your broken furnace. He even wired the new thermostat to run on the AC from the house rather than run on batteries. Needless to say, I signed up for a maintenance plan with them.

Furnace not working and called Rahim and he told me he will send a technician before 7:00 PM and technician arrived on time as promised. I would recommend their services to my family and friends.

I have had 2 great experiences with Airplus. This miserable winter, first the furnace in one of my properties broke down. Airplus was there that afternoon, and stayed late into the evening to fix it at a reasonable cost. Then the furnace in my other house cacked out. They had the entire furnace replaced in half a day - I barely noticed their presence. No inconvenience, great service and reasonably priced.

We use Air Plus for many tasks including duct cleaning, furnace/AC cleaning (furnace cleaning is ~$100), and they also provided and installed new AC for us. We have always been 100% satisfied with the service. A couple of times, the fix was simple and they didn't even charge us for the visit. As an added bonus, they are all very polite and they even call to remind us when we are due for cleaning. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for all HVAC needs. We will definitely be calling them again to install our next furnace (we will need one very soon). Thanks Air Plus!

my family used this company for a furnace repair due to their free estimate policy. other companies charged for estimates only to indicate that unit was beyond repair. we call those people "replacemen" rather than repairmen. that is total laziness, dishonesty, gouging, or lack of experience (or all of the above).nathan at air plus knows better.

i installed two tankless water heater at two locations, plus one trane furnace 2009/2010. soon after the furnace was installed, we smelled gas, and called them back. they said it was the line from the house to the supply, and charged us for that diagnostic. we immediately had that line replaced. for 3 years we've put up with the smell of gas until recently - an expert fixed the problem - they had used plumbing equipment which leaked, rather than the right stuff. we also had the outlets for the tankless corrected, since they were not to code either. unbelievable!!! i still recall the fellow that installed it smoking cigarettes and butting them out on the floor below the furnace. that's why there is homestars.

my wife was woken up in the middle of the night by a loud roaring sound from the air conditioning blower fanairplus heating and cooling came on very short notice at the scheduled time.within a very short period of time they had located and solved the problem.very prompt efficient service - would highly recommend their service team

a/c was not draining properly.airplus came for a checkup and found out that it was simply a clogged tube. they just flushed the tube out and didn't charge a penny, said they couldn't, in all honesty, charge me for something as small as that (it did literally take 10 mins). very impressive considering some other companies wanted to charge just for checking things out. will call/work with airplus in the future for a fact!

our air conditioner stopped working on the hottest day so far. after many phone calls, we chose airplus based on their customer service and willingness to help. the service was excellent. they were prompt, courteous and answered all of our questions. not only would we use them again in the future, we would gladly recommend them.

my trane air conditioner was done quickly and without a hitch until low refrigerant was found. to my surprise the technician did not have refrigerant with him to top it up! a second visit was required. thank goodness kwame had remembered his equipment....not happy but it was sorted finally! hopefully this is a one off mistake. they are usually more reliable and i recommendtheir company to others.

air plus has consistently provided our family with great service. we even selected them to complete a reno for us because we trusted chris (owner). we remain in touch with the company for our ongoing hvac needs/questions. they have always provided great advice and i truly feel chris puts himself in our shoes and always plays fair. for that, we continue to do business with them and suggest others do as well.they are punctual, quotes are accurate...no surprises. any questions/concerns in the future, they are accountable, prompt and honest. a rare find!

had them install a high efficiency furnace in 2010, get them to clean it every year. this year the service rep even taught me how to vacuum the filter! i called yesterday and they were able to squeeze me in today.

thank you for the excellent work when your team recently performed our fall furnace tune-up.they arrived on time,were organized,performed the tune-up quickly,professionally and when they were done you we could not tell they had been here. they exceeded our expectations when they took the time to explain the service they perform and they went a step further by addressing our concern with unbalanced flow between our main and second floor. they explained our options,and together we determined that a change in the blower speed was requier.we were also impresd when they pointed a couple of future servicing issues we should be aware of and that the blower speed should be re-checked in the spring when we turn on the air conditioning.i compliment you on thier thoroughness as it was evident that our safety and comfort was paramount.i would like to take this opportunity to thank your crew for a project truly well done and credit goes to their level of service and professionalism that exceeded our expectations.we certainly look forward to recommending airplus heating and cooling in the future and have no objection to you using as a reference to prospective clients if reuired.

two words for this company. very impressed! we had been without hot water for our coach house for over a week as we were waiting over 5 days on another hvac contractor (gta heating & cooling) to get the (wrong) part from winnipeg.one call to airplus and two technicians arrived at our house within the hour. they quickly found the problem (diaphragm) and said they would pick it up the next day for installation (parts are in mississauga and not winnipeg!). the next morning, they arrived with the part and fixed the boiler. the hot water is back in business once again.this company was fast & efficient. a little pricy for the part, but considering the service given, very much worth it. i would highly recommend them. they are clean, professional and true to their word.thanks so much for everything.

airplus got my hot water boiler back on track and passing the co emissions test after shawn from a plus heating charged me for a service which he did not perform and shut the system down without a red tag slip.shawn had told me that the boiler was rusted out and could not be repaired and that i needed a new furnace quoting me $8,000.00. he later changed his mind stating that he could repair the boiler for $1,750.00 plus tax.chris and jon from airplus heating and cooling were able to determine that my furnace had never been properly serviced from the day it was installed in spite of shawn having come every fall and charging me to do so.after the accumulated dust and crud was cleaned away from the heat exchanger, the boiler passed the co test with flying colours.my thanks to chris and jon for being so professional. without their help, i might have been taken in by shawn's scam.

this has got to be the worst hvac company i dealt with. tech was sent over to repair my parent's central ac. the tech just looked around, left the house for an hour, came back, looked around some more told my parents that the ac should be working and to leave it running for the cold air to come. my parents were billed for $867 which they paid. several hours after the tech left, the ac was still running but no cold air. the manager/owner chris was contacted and he said the said the charges were for services rendered. a little argument ensued and he hung up the phone. this is ridiculous. my parents are seniors and are not mechanically inclined. i felt that they were taken advantage of by an incompetent technician and unfriendly manager. i will take case to court.

hello, i had a few quotes prior to my project. when airplus came to my home my first impression was that they were honest. they explained the job thoroughly. when the job was complete it was done excellent. they are very professional and done everything they said they would & more. they are very competitive in price & workmanship. i would highly recommend this company to anyone.

i called airplus for a service call the other day they had chris at my house is 1 hour to take a look. when he looked at my furnace and told me that the motor was gone. he recommend that i replace the furnace because i would be spending good money after bad it was 18 years old and would have more problems down the road. so i decided to replace everything and i got to say that these guys know there stuff. every question i had about the equipment they had a answer and from the research i had done they weren't hiding anything. chris and nate were at my house the next day to install and they took great care of my house. drop clothes and always cleaning. when they were done chris took over an hour taking me throw what i had bought and why i picked them. great service and great people thanks guys

bought a new hose and realized the ac was not working. called several companies to get a service person to come out and most were completely disinterested (if they bothered to answer the phone or return a call)airplus had someone there in 3 days. john was professional, courteous and thorough. the unit was beyond repair due to poor maintenance by the previous owner.he referred a salesperson to call me (the inspection was saturday, the salesman phoned me monday morning at 10:00). he booked an appointment for tuesday (yes, the next day) and he did a very thorough inspection of both the furnace and a/c. he was honest enough to say we did not need a new furnace, gave some great tips on maintenance (that the company will not benefit from) and actually sold us on the less expensive ac unit that would meet our needs.the installation team showed up when promised--both men were exectptionally courteous, and took great care with the work they were doing. during the installation, a piece of equipment was damaged, instead of repairing it, they advised me they would rather wait for a new one to be delivered (from pickering to downtown), significanlty extending their work day. these guys went above and beyond, and not only did the installation, made a few other modifactions to improve the overall operation of the system (including a recommendation about why we should change our hot water tank!)without a doubt, one of the finest service expereinces, and have no hesitation highly recommending airplus!

replaced furnace and air conditioner as part of total renovations. the owner chris is very knowledgeable and advised us of our options. the installers were quiet, efficient and considerate. we have now used airplus to install air conditioning in our daughters new home and have recommended airplus to friends who are embarking on an extensive home reno. i would recommend this company to anyone.

i had to get some ductwork moved since i was finishing our basement. my usual provider (a successful company here on homestars) was too busy to be able to make it out and missed a few of his appointments. i called chris at airplus and he responded that day and had peter come out to estimate the morning after. peter then scheduled to do the work 2 business days after that. i was so relieved that peter was able to fit me in and get the work done quickly. quality appeared quite good, but i am not a professional of ducting to know if there are issues. nonetheless, airplus and peter relieved much stress for me by being prompt, very professional, and available. thanks!

i would like to congratulate the sales man dave brydsonwho was very courteous and accomodating. he did not give me any of the high pressure sales pitch, he explained all the advantages and disadvantages of mid and high effeciency furnaces and allow us to make our choice.because of him we choose air plus and was very happy with the work and dave's follow-up to minor adjustments.the owner christopher was also helpfull and answered all question and easly accessablethank you for ajob well doneneville and anitha

hiring airplus to install our air conditioning unit was a mistake. not only were they hours late to the initial install, we had many issues with the unit afterwards, and airplus did little to resolve the problem in a timely manner.the issue stemmed from them leaving a large piece of cardboard on the unit (from the box it was shipped in) during the installation. this means the unit could not function the way in which it's meant. this led to multiple floods in our basement and significant, unnecessary stress.they came several times to resolve the issue and could not, until one of their people finally found the root of the issue.to have them respond in any way took many phone calls. we had to constantly remind them to make good on any of their commitments. messages to the company owner were unreturned. barb, the manager, is nice on the phone; however, falls short on action.eventually, they did respond and did some extra work to the unit.i do not recommend airplus. they are indifferent to providing even third-rate customer service.andrew andreoli

Three straight summers my condo central A/C broke down. I tried a different company each time to get it fixed; York-Simcoe Refrigeration, BRIM, even the building technician at the military base I serve! Sadly, none of them figured out that there was a leak! Every year, they just topped up the refrigerant, charged me $300-$500 and went on their way leaving me to believe it's been fixed. Only to have it "break" down again the next summer. Enter Kwame... What a guy... polite, knowledgeable and diligent. He figured out the problem, gave me my options and charged a flat fee. Yes, it did cost me $550 (Diagnostic + Level 3 repair). Which may seem pricey... But it's worth it. Since you can be sure you paid for peace of mind that the work was done right. Don't waste your time and money with anyone else. These guys are the real deal. Shout out to Bill as well; thank you for taking my call and sending out your superstar: Kwame.

I feel like I lucked out. My old A/C unit was not cooling at all. I gave the Air Plus a call based on their proximity to me and some good reviews. I had an appointment within 2 hours and I then had the unit installed the same day! It's crazy hot this week too:)

I was straggling with my thankless water tank Rheem company, many times I call Rhem company it was pure hassle, and harassment, but I find on the web site the Air plus, and I called, the same day they came, they contacted to the Rheem company as the Air plus has no parts for the heater, but they harassed the Air plus representatives, they we finally get the parts from Rheem, and I called back the AirPlus services, they came at the same day, it was fast in 10 min they change the part, that's what I called services! , professional and no hassle, I love theirs services, thank you people

Wow! what a life saver. We had our furnace broken after the last ice storm. Once we got our electricity back, we realized that our not so old furnace "decided" to strike... We called a few companies but Air Plus were the fastest to respond. they sent a technician that found that our ignition control system was burnt. He fixed it quickly and efficiently.
